A DYNAMIC COMMUNITY OF ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS WORKING ACROSS DISCIPLINES
Platform Studios has provided a creative environment for artist of Chicago since 2009, founded by artists Trevor O'Neil, Josette O'Neil, Mark Verwoerdt, and Michael O'Briant as a cooperative art studio. Today it continues to operate as a working studio for our resident artists, and even more prominently as an open and accessible space and community for creative minded people in and around Chicago.
Our flagship drop-in figure drawing sessions run three times a week, along with additional classes, workshops, and events. Through these resources, our objective is to foster a supportive and welcoming artistic community for everyone, just as much as our goal of promoting artistic technique and expression.
