Since 2009 Platform Studios has provided a creative environment for the local community. Our resident artists make Platform a home for artistic creation,  alongside our long running figure drawing community. Additionally, our studio is utilized as a classroom, critical forum, event space, and a way to connect with the neighborhood and city.  

 

Located at Hubbard Street Lofts, Platform Studios is part of a long tradition of bringing art to the public in Chicago. Our flagship figure drawing sessions run three times a week, along with occasional drawing and painting workshops. In addition to drawing and painting, our resident artists work across a variety of media including digital design, music, and video. Engaging with and encouraging a diversity of ideas and perspectives is one of the many things that makes Platform a vibrant creative environment.
