Awakening

June 16 – August 17

Awakening is the first virtual exhibition hosted by Platform and the first exhibition since the the coronavirus pandemic upended just about everyone’s lives. This exhibition is an opportunity to share a selection of work by artists from platform that reflects their artistic practices. Having a creative outlet during this past year and half has been a boon to many individuals and in some cases (but far too few) those close to them. Awakening is not just a revival of Platform as forum to view and discuss art but also a reminder of the significance that different perspectives and creative visions are essential to a healthy society and community.
